Lunch and Flowers by the Sea

Wenthworth by the Sea and Fuller Gardens
Members of the Brentwood Historical Society enjoyed a visit to two seacoast New Hampshire landmarks on June 20! Beginning at the historic Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in Newcastle, the group had lunch in the Glass Room and learned about the history of the hotel, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. After lunch the group traveled to Fuller Gardens in North Hampton. The Fuller rose garden, designed by the Olmstead Brothers Firm of Boston in the 1930s, was colorful and gloriously fragrant! The heat did not stop the group from having a fascinating day of friendship, food, and flowers!
