Brentwood, New Hampshire Through the Years, 1742 - 2017
The Historical Society made a major gift of this history book to the town of Brentwood, New Hampshire in celebration of the town’s 275th anniversary in 2017.
The book was a brand-new, updated town history published to coincide with the anniversary celebration weekend held on September 16 and 17, 2017. Brentwood, New Hampshire Through the Years, 1742 – 2017 is a large book, measuring 8 1/2 x 11 inches, with a glossy hard cover, over 600 pages of stories, articles, lists, and recollections, and more than 600 pictures, most of them in color.
A core comittee and many town residents worked intensely for more than a year to bring it all together in a true community effort.
The book is a wonderful resource for any one interested in history, genealogy, and the pleasure of reading some good stories! The book is now in its second printing. A spiral-bound supplement to the book with a comprehensive index, new material and corrections is also available. The books can be purchased for $25 and the supplement costs $10.
