Jean Pedrick Kefferstan was an award-winning poet, author, and publisher and a summer resident of Brentwood. Jean held the “Skimmilk Farm Workshop,” a forum for writers, at the family farm for 30 years, until her death in 2006. The farm is still owned and used by the Kefferstan family.

The Society is honored to welcome Jean’s granddaughter, Emily Kefferstan, who will share with us memories of her grandmother and summers at Skimmilk Farm and recite some of Jean’s work.
